NON-TOBACCO RELATED MATERIAL IDENTIFICATION AND REJECTION.
The NTRM system aims at maintaining the integrity of tobacco. Any Non-tobacco related material (NTRM) is of critical concern to the tobacco industry. The presence of NTRMs not only deteriorates the flavor but may also cause hazard for the consumer. The online NTRM identification system is installed at the super charger section of the making machine. At this point the tobacco flakes moves against the gravity and falls on the cigarette paper for rolling.
The NTRM identification system employs 4 high speed cameras and a controller and helps reject any foreign particles present so that only an NTRM free tobacco is made into a cigarette.
